L' Ile Saint Louis covers only 11 hectares. Only 8 roads and wharfs, the time in Ile Saint Louis seems to have stopped!

A longtime ago the island was used as pastures and was initially called the island of cows. During the 17th century the island was the object of a major urbanization with the construction of many mansions resulting in the nickname "the island of palaces". A number of these palaces are the work of architect Louis Le Vau, which lived there with his family.

The building is located on rue Jean du Bellay at the western tip of the Ile Saint Louis.

This street is at the junction between the Pont Louis Philippe,
which leads to the Marais (right bank) and the Bridge St. Louis which leads to the feet of Notre Dame de Paris on the Ile de la Cite.

Place of culture and history, mythical characters such as Camille Claudel and Baudelaire lived there. Extremely well maintained by French institutions, it remains an authentic and charming place!
